It’s the headgear from Katamari Damacy! Don’t you recognize a geek cultural icon when you see one?
I saw this a couple weeks ago (actually in the context of “Hey, look, it’s the headgear from Katamari Damacy!”) and, if I ever updated Design Patterns, then I could have averted this. *sigh*
