Day 12 fell on a Wednesday which is KNIT NIGHT. What’s a girl to do? I went to knit night and then raced home to watch the race with Wes. It turns out he’s been working like crazy so we managed to watch all 3.5 hours of the broadcast last night. It was great, except for the fact that we finally got into bed just after midnight.
I did, however, have a late night plying party:
The skein on the left is the leftovers from the combination spin. I promise I’ll take less sucktastic photos when I get home this evening.
The second is the result of spinning some fiber and plying it with Wollmeise lace (which many would say is downright sacrilegious). I think I eked out enough yardage out of that first bit to knit the sweater I had planned, but I guess we’ll find out right?
Tonight – the second skein of the sweater spin and maybe a little something else for fun!
