How is it already November? This year has just FLOWN by and I can’t believe the holidays are around the corner.
This month I got my spinning mojo back and spun quite a bit! I’m really pleased with them!
The first spin was a club selection from Southern Cross Fibre on BFL (Blue Face Leicester) in the colorway Jaded. This wonderfully squishy yarn is already being knit up into a gift for the holidays:

My second spin for the month was another club selection from Southern Cross Fibre. This one was on superwash Cheviot wool in the colorway Longest Night. Although I love the colors, I think I’m less enamored which Cheviot, which is a rougher wool that I found tougher to draft.

Last year about this time I attended a craft show and purchased two bumps of fiber from Woolie Bullie, intending to spin them together. I decided to play with color a little and create a gradient spin by dividing my fiber into thirds. This would be great for a bigger project like a shawl!

This month’s spins bring brings me up to 218.5 ounces, or 13 lbs, 10.5 oz.
