About
I’m a 30-something California girl recently transplanted to the Midwest, where at least I have a good excuse for the enormous amounts of stash Yarrrrrrrrrn that I seem to have accumulated. I have a wonderful husband (who has hobbies and collections of his own) and a fabulous group of knitting mateys. Join me as I fumble through life and knitting!

I’m wanting to makea larger version of Ishbel but am a bit scared. Do i repeat the pattern , and if so how many times, or do I enlarge the border. You’ve clearly done it with great success and I would so appreciate your advice.

You can do it in a variety of ways.
1. You can add repeats of A and B at the beginning. Just be sure that however many you add, you always end on A (so ABA, ABABA, ABABABA, etc).
2. You can add repeats of D. One the green one I knit two full chart D’s (rather than the 1 that the pattern called for).
Good luck!
